The online application process for UPTET 2026 will begin on 27 March 2026, and the Last date to apply is 26 April 2026.The commission has also announced the examination schedule. UPTET Online Form 2026 : Educational Qualification

| Primary Teacher (Class 1-5) |
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with D.El.Ed (Final Year Passed or Appearing).
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks, or Master’s Degree in any subject, along with D.Ed (Passed or Appearing).
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 45% marks, or Master’s Degree in any subject, along with D.Ed (Passed or Appearing) as per NCTE norms.
- 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with a 4-Year B.El.Ed course.

| Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8) |
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with minimum 50% marks along with B.Ed / B.Ed (Special Education) (Passed or Appearing – Final Year).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 2-Year BTC / D.El.Ed Training (Passed).
- 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with 4-Year B.El.Ed Course.
- 10+2 (Intermediate) with minimum 50% marks along with B.Sc.Ed Course (Passed).
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 45% marks or Master’s Degree in any subject, along with B.Ed (Passed or Appearing) as per NCTE norms.
