The (Ministry of Railways) has announced the RRB Technician CEN 02/2026 Recruitment 2026 for Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III posts on its official website. Candidates who are interested in railway jobs can apply online from 30 June 2026 to 29 July 2026.

Under this recruitment drive, a total of 6,565 vacancies have been released for Technician Grade-I and Grade-III positions across various Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) in India.

RRB Technician Grade I & III Recruitment 2026 : Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III posts must fulfill the required educational qualifications mentioned below.

Technician Grade-I Signal

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized university or institution:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation
    OR
  • Diploma in Engineering in relevant disciplines such as:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Electronics Engineering
    • Communication Engineering
    • Instrumentation Engineering
      OR
  • BE / B.Tech degree in relevant engineering streams

Technician Grade-III

Candidates must have:

  • Passed Class 10th (Matriculation/SSLC)
    AND
  • ITI Certificate in the relevant trade approved by NCVT/SCVT

Candidates holding an Act Apprenticeship certificate in the related trade are also eligible to apply for Technician Grade-III posts.

Important Note

  • Educational qualification must be completed before the last date of application submission.
  • Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply.
  • Trade/discipline eligibility details will be available in the detailed notification to be released on 29 June 2026.
